On 28th February 2019 Bridge arranged for members from across the county to attend Thornby House.

Built in the seventeenth century, this building is a stunning Jacobean manor house visited by Oliver Cromwell in the 1600's, which is now home to Nagarjuna Kadampa Meditation Centre and it popular World Peace Café.

Bridge members enjoyed a historical tour around Thornby House and its stunning grounds and woodland followed by a meditation session, two course vegetarian meal and afternoon tea which was enjoyed by Bridge members.
