Staff, volunteers and members, have all been working really hard at our Allotment in Wellingborough.

Wednesday is the day scheduled on the timetable to go, however a dedicated few now go more regularly, including weekends.

As it is now sowing season more help was needed to prepare the ground and plant all the vegetables, so on April 18th a group of 13 went with a picnic, to the allotment and planted, onions, potatoes cabbage and broccoli and peas. The roof to the shed was repaired and water stored for later use.

The weather was very kind to us that day, a lot of work was completed, and the day was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended.

Although its hard work, it is very rewarding, especially when it is time to harvest all the produce!!
