On Friday 18th August, all 3 sites of Bridge, Northampton, Wellingborough and Corby, had a men's camping trip.
We went to Grendon lakes for an overnight stay. The weather wasn't kind to us, and it rained most of the time we were there. This didn't dampen the mood and everyone had a really good time, despite having to take shelter under the gazebo for large amounts of time!
The sun eventually came out after dinner and we were able to play some rounders and football. Some members hadn't played any of these sports for year, so it was refreshing for them to try them again.
One member at the end of the camping trip said, "It's the first time in months that I haven't had to drink at night, and this was because there was something to do, I've had a really good time".
Bridge will look to do another camping trip next summer.
